4/18/10 Testing Day....

Today was the test to see if my torn calf muscle was ready to ride the Kettle Moraine. It was also a test to see if my Salsa was ready for 2010 race season. I had won some new gear last fall from a Kenda Cup race in N.Y. It had finally arrived over the last couple of months. I kept my old Black Mamasita Frame and put on the new Hayes gear I had won. I Won new 2010 Sun Ringle Black Flag wheel set...29er Manitou Minute front forks...a Stroker Gram brake set with rotors...and a set of kenda tires. I couldn't believe how fast my bike felt and how fast I could ride over some of the kettle down hill rocks with the new forks (after riding/racing rigid for 3 years now). My calf was on the path to healing.It was a good day and I rode a nice 35.5 Kettle/Emma miles.
